Greensleep 100% natural latex
Our 100% natural latex stretches in all directions, breathes perfectly, and is not temperature-sensitive, meaning it never feels too hot or too cold.
Our mattress cores are made from a unique treasure from nature: 100% natural latex. This material breathes, stretches in all directions, and is not temperature-sensitive—it's as if nature created it specifically for mattresses.
Hevea brasiliensis: the source of natural latex
The rubber tree, first discovered in the Amazon region in 1736 by French explorer Charles Marie de la Condamine, produces a sap that hardens into a protective mass, similar to resin from other trees. This sap, which we call latex, forms the basis of our high-quality mattress cores.
Natural latex is sustainably harvested by making an incision in the bark of the rubber tree, allowing the latex sap to flow and be collected in a pot. This renewable raw material provides the ideal foundation for mattresses that enhance your sleep quality.
From the source
Our liquid natural latex comes from North Malaysia, where independent farmers carefully grow selected rubber trees. These trees, developed in collaboration with the National Rubber Institute in Kuala Lumpur, produce a sap that is ideal for our mattresses and is available in different firmness levels. This way, you can choose the mattress that best suits your sleep needs.
Pure and fair
The plantations supplying our latex do not use pesticides, growth promoters, or insecticides. The undergrowth is managed manually, and in some areas, sheep and goats help keep the vegetation trimmed. Our production is fully organic and certified by the Öko-Umweltinstitut in Cologne, ensuring that we meet the highest environmental standards
